Who is entitled to join?
This is a mailing list for people currently resident in Ireland, or normally resident in Ireland but living abroad for a period of time (for example, someone going to College in another country). All members must be over 16 years old. The topic of discussion is any and all matters pertaining to Earth-based Spirituality. Anyone who does not fill these criteria will not be allowed to join the list.
How do I join?
The mailing list is hosted on the Yahoo Groups web site, so you can log on there, register as a member and then go to the fáinne page and request a subscription to the list. An easier method, is to send an email to fainne-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
The Mailing List is restricted which means your subscription has to be approved before you will begin receiving messages. The List Moderator will receive notification that you have asked to be subscribed to the list, but if you do not have an Irish domain in your email address you will be expected to write to her with some information about why you wish to join the list.
I've joined what do I do now?
Anyone who is subscribed to the mailing list will receive any message you send to the following address: fainne@yahoogroups.com After that, it's up to you to promote discussion on any topic that interests you within the wide spectrum of Earth-based Spirituality.
What are the Guidelines for submissions?
It's pretty simple. Be polite. Respect other people's traditions and practices. Don't "flame" people unnecessarily. A good rule of thumb is: if you wouldn't say something to a person's face, then don't say it on e-mail. Keep discussions on-topic (Earth-based Spirituality). You will receive a detailed FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) file when you are subscribed to the list which will ouline the list policy.
